About Me

I have been a Piano Technician since 1997.

I believe in the highest standards for customer service, and I try my best to keep my clients happy and informed so that they may continue to enjoy their piano for a lifetime.

I am a Registered Piano Technician (RPT) with the Piano Technicians Guild.  This is a nationally recognized non-profit organization of Professional Technicians.

I am a Member of the Master Piano Technicians of America. (MPTA)

I am a Certified PianoDisc© Technician.  I can repair most Digital player systems, or even retrofit your own piano or a new piano to play from your Tablet, Smartphone, computer, flash drive or a CD player.

I attended the Yamaha 'Little Red School House' Technician Training Seminar.
I also attended the Yamaha Performance Tech Seminar for Concert Technicians.

I am a Steinway Technician, attended the Steinway Concert Prep Technical Seminar.
I also am a trained Steinway Spirio Technician from the Factory Spirio Training Seminar.

I have training from Cornell University Historical Keyboard Dept for Preservation & Restoration.

I have 15 years experience as a piano dealership Piano Technician, and have worked on Kawai, Yamaha, Baldwin, Bosendorfer, Estonia, Steinway, Bluthner, Petrof, & many others.

I have extensive experience with harpsichords & fortepianos, including tuning, voicing, & regulation.

I participate regularly in continuing my education so that I remain up-to-date on all the newest technology. Every year I attend some kind of education seminar or convention throughout the country, which helps me maintain an understanding of the ever-changing players systems.  I am computer savvy with an extensive understanding and knowledge of digital technology and digital player systems such as PianoDisc©, Yamaha© Disklavier©, QRS, and Steinway Spirio.

I studied at Oakland University's School of Music, where I composed music, participated in numerous ensembles, took private piano studies, and attended hundreds of concerts, performances, and shows.

Music is a main part of my life.  My love for Pianos and Music is visible in the quality of my work.  I look forward to being able to share with you and assist you with any needs you may have.

I live in Waterford, MI with my wife and three kids, and maintain a shop where I do most of my piano rebuilding work, repairs, and various jobs.

Please visit my contact page for all of my contact information and I will get back to you in a timely manor.

Thank You for stopping by.
